Default Fed up

Well, sat reading the site & panicking if my usual 3 week trip due in around 6 weeks (5 weeks for my wife & younger son) will go ahead after surgery last Thursday to try & repair a shattered collar bone, surgeon says to wait & see over the next few weeks though bearing the pain is one thing, missing pp with the wife & kids for a year is just down right depressing.

So do I.
Just back from PP after 2 canx trips due to illness etc so understand how depressing it is. Hopefully you could still squeeze a trip in before children go back to school. Good Luck.

6 weeks for a broken collor bone is massive, i'd be very, very surprised if you were not able to travel in 6 weeks, no drugs needed the body will repair it itself, takes around 10/12 weeks to knit properly, but you'll notice a big difference in 6 weeks. Chin up!

Great news pips, hope you have more to come.

Thank's smiddy, though surgeon didn't seem so optimistic, had a plate fitted & also a hook to keep my shoulder up as it is broken in one place & also shattered were it joins my shoulder. But have to go in a couple of weeks for him to asses so should know more then.
