Folk now appearing on the webcams all over the island.
It's a grand sight and no mistake.

Probably but i think most would have been out earlier, the kids were most likely chomping at the bit to get out there, they are only allowed out once a day for an hour.

Just wondering if the beached boat in front of the Miramar will ever be recovered

One of the boats that was further up was removed earlier this week. I assume they will all be taken away eventually but at the moment it's not essential work and it depends on pending insurance claims and/or the council having the funds to do it. Probably not on the top of the agenda at this time.

Lovely seeing people out and about this morning after being locked down for so long - they must really appreciate being able to walk along the front in beautiful weather

It's looking really busy now on the webcam - lots of cars parked and people on the beach - maybe because it's Sunday - but good to see

Yes, the beach was really busy. Lots of day trippers I think.

It's looking noticeably busier this evening on the prom. I so wish we were there but really feel for everyone who booked and were then hit by new quarantine rules. Now Jet2 want to get everyone home early.
I hope the hotels can survive this uncertainty, it must be a nightmare for them. Our favourite is the Miramar. We were regulars at Sis Pins until we stayed at this wonderful hotel which ticked all the boxes for us.
I've really enjoyed looking at webcams over lockdown. I wish there was a live cam on the square.

It usually is busier toward the weekend when a lot of business owners come up from Palma .

I've found another couple of new webcams which are lovely. The first is from the Puig de Maria and the second shows a lovely view of Cala Molins in CSV.
Not sure if the links will work when I post this but they are as below.

I notice on the Miramar webcam there are a couple of lucky people enjoying the sun terrace. It must be odd with it being so quiet. We are hoping to return next summer but the increasing Covid numbers here are worrying! It just breaks your confidence about the situation improving.
