It seems that by the weekend we could have snow on the beach!! Batten down the shutters, get out the thermals, dust off the extra radiator and pull up the duvet. The first real cold spell of the winter so we can barely complain.... but of course we will.

Im 100% electric which is fine until the electric goes off and then I cant even open up my shutters - which may be a good thing. Wrap up and stay inside with your Hubby.

We are fine JMD, have mostly electric but do also have a gas fire. I read a post by a friend on FaceBook, the poor thing has to have gas for hot water and he said that the gasman had run out .

Exclamation Orange Alert for Coastal Phenomena!!!

Hola amigos. It rained all through the night and although it's dry at the moment, it is very grey, the NNE wind is quite strong. Temperatures are not expected to rise much above 10c and are set to drop over the next few days .
The pressure is 1003.
The temperature is 7.5c.
Yesterdays low was 7c and the high was 13.6c.

P.S. I see today is "Candlemass" which is said to be the midway point of winter, great so that means we have one more week and it's over .

As well as the fire we do also have a gas hob so it's nice to know we have a back-up, but i know what you mean Barefoot, cold showers are great in summer but not in Feb .
