Bergantin is in the Boquer area near the entrance to the Boquer valley at the back - in front of the bypass (not noisy at all!). Most of the supermarkets nearby have fresh baguettes, croissants etc.

If you turn right out of the apts & keep walking you'll see the Avenida Bocchoris in front of you. Turn left towards sea & walk down. As you reach the bottom you'll see a sort of beach shop on the corner in front of you that has bread etc. Or turn right along c/ Formentor & you'll find the back entrance to Voramar supermarket on the left (another entrance is on the Pine Walk) - they have a bakery by the back entrance - if I got this right, here it is in Winter (closed!) - Voramar Supermarket, Port de Pollença, Pollença, Spain - Google Maps

What about Store Formentor, just before the Bellresguard estate on calle de formentor. Do they not do pastries and such while you sip a cold lemonade.

Another option & maybe nearer to Begantin - turn left instead of right when leaving apts, then right (down towards the sea) & turn LEFT onto Formentor Road, past the woods & Store Formentor is on your Left - so many places!

And as an aside don't leave out any half-eaten croissants in your kitchen - ants appeared from nowhere when we did. They weren't so keen on stale bread!

Very true Pollensa. I am amazed that they can smell things two floors up though - how they press those buttons on the lift is beyond me!

Those ants get everywhere. They overan a cupboard last year... apparently they even like Eroski Cornflakes and a loaf of Bimbo!

The ant problem has been really bad this year, i think we need some heavy rain and lower temperatures.
