Areas of Pollensa

Please could anyone explain where the area of Gotmar is in Puerto Pollensa. How far from the Pinewood walk is it. I have stayed at hotel Uyal in the past which is right on the sea front but where is Gotmar in relation to this. Many thanks Carole Watson

If you follow this link Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca) Holiday Travel , Mallorca (Majorca), look for the Uyall (No.38)and the Gotmar/Gommar area is to the left, behind the hotel, it is a 15 to 20 minute walk into the central area of town. I hope this helps :D.

just for your info Gotmar is a very lovely area if you dont mind the short walk to the port and remember no hills so you have the advantage of a quiter area to stay in specialy at night but still a number of local bars etc in Gotmar. so you have the best of both worlds thats why we purchased our place up there. And even my 73 year old mother inlaw enjoys the walk into the port :)

Totally agree! We bought in Gommar for the same reason. Walking distance to everywhere but a quiet residential area.

While most of Gotmar/Gommar are flat, there are some very steep slopes up to the Bellauba Apartments etc and others that are on the side of Puig de Gotmar/Llenaire?? Basically anything above/to the south of Calle del Pinsa is quite a climb!!:(
