Default Mass times in Pollensa Town

Hi folks, sorry to be raising this subject again, but where ever I look to check the times of mass in the main church in Pollensa all I can find is the times for the service in Puerto Pollensa. Can anybody clarify for me if this is one and the same church or what time the mass is on Sunday in Pollensa town? I am pretty sure it is 11am, but want to be sure as we are arriving late on Saturday night and don't want to miss the service (or to have to get up an hour earlier if we don't need to!) Many thanks.

Hi CLB. It seems hard to find times for Pollensa town, the only one I can find at the moment is from Rosie in May last year. There must be someone who has a more upto date confirmation though.

When we are there, we usually go to the 10.00am mass in San Jordi Church in the old town and then straight down to the market, and maybe coffee in the square or at Brio

You're right Cheryl of course! Still not back to reality yet after the funeral obviously.
Didn't post complete link as considered Rosies post the most relevant to the question by the way!

I had already quoted Rosies post anyway Sparky, so did not really see the point in you putting the exact same post with a link in it, unless you had intended for the whole thread to be seen, which didn't really add to the reply. But not to worry, it really isn't that confusing, and CLB has the answer now which is the main thing.

Default Mass in Pollensa town

Hi Cheryl, Bella and Sparky, thanks for your replies. We are on our holiday now, staying in a lovely villa near Pollensa (fortunately with internet access!)
We found out that the main mass in the Parish church in Pollensa is at midday on Sunday. Last week there was an earlier service at 9.30am which appears to have been moved from 10am. I will check this Sunday to see if that is a permanent change of time and also to see if there is an evening service on Saturday - although I have a feeling this might be said at a different church. The main church in Pollensa is called the church of 'Our Lady of the Angels' and has a beautiful altarpiece as well as many side chapels with statues and paintings. It is well worth a visit. There is a market on Sunday morning in the square in front of the church as you probably already know.

Regards,
Claire

Excellent Claire, hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday and of course the last few days of La Patrona.

Default Mass Times

The Church in the square (port) has Mass at 11.00am each Sunday, it is used jointly by Church of England and is lovely. Some times when I have been there, Christenings or First Holy Communion take place.
