Smile Weekly meeting at Marina Cafe

I believe that Bonyslad proposed that visiting forum members, when available and so inclined, could meet at the Marina Cafe on Thursdays at 11:17.

Following a torrential downpour today, my wife and I went along hoping for some banter to distract our attention from the gloomy weather. We did get some banter and a good laugh with Elljay, the only other forum member we were able to identify.

Did anyone else attend or were other members put off by the weather?
If others did attend then some recognition signal needs to be agreed.

Unfortunately, neither Elljay or I can attend next Thursday as we'll both be travelling back to Scotland - Elljay to Glasgow and Mrs Parsman and I to Edinburgh.

I hope that future meetings are more successful.

Mike

Sadly, I do not know what Bonyslad looks like!

There was someone I thought might be him but, at the risk of insulting anyone, I took the matter no further.
Good chat with the Parsmans (Parsmen) though!

Smile

A lot of people may have missed previous posts (last year, I think) suggesting members who wish to recognise each other should carry a copy of the "Holiday in Puerto Pollensa" magazine.
I did that last year but nobody turned up!

I am out in August and would love to meet up with forum members, however I think I would be mightily shy about going up to random people for fear of making a bit of a wally of myself.
Great idea about magazine, where would I find one of those??

Or maybe simply display a little sign on the table saying "PP Forum.

I'm so looking forward to putting faces to names.

63 days to go!!!

Red face

I normally get my Pollensa magazine at the tourist office by the taxi rank. I've got a PP T-shirt, as well, but it's just white, thank goodness.

Or why not get hold of a copy of our new restaurant map leaflet - you can pick up a copy from the tourist office & several other outlets.
