Talking History - PP square rocks twice in a week

Just back from a great 8 days in PP. What a night in the port last Sunday when Spain won the final !!! I can remember jumping up and down on my chair in the middle of Bar Cultural as Iniesta's goal hit the back of the net and the celebrations at the roundabout after the game will always stick in my memory. But enough about the final as much has been posted already. Just as things were calming down after the footy on Thursday night as part of the Fiesta celebrations the square was host to a Michael Jackson "History" tribute concert. It far exceeded my expectations. It was brilliant !!! The guy taking Jacko's role was such a talented singer and dancer and really got the crowd going. It was great to see the square packed with people of all ages and nationalities having such a good time dancing and singing along as the fine array of performers belted out hit after hit of Jacko and The Jackson 5. Well done to everyone connected with putting on this fantastic show. More please !!!!!

You wouldn't get that in the UK would you. I also managed a ride on one of the boats that went out in the flotilla with the stautes. There were 4 of us ,probably the only english among 200 Mallorquins, but that is what is so good about the fiestas.
