You don't mean what I think you do, do you, Bonyslad? Please say you don't. And if you do, cannot you in your capacity as El Presidente do something about it?

I think BL is referring to one of the families that own large amounts of property here .
I haven't heard this particular rumour but i dare say there will be another one going around tomorrow .

If this is the case, then i'd rather it remained boarded-up!

Bonyslad

PLEASE tell me you are winding us up

I hate to see the place closed

I don;t really mind who owns it

BUT

I want it to stay as it was ............ a nice traditional hotel that did well and had sufficient custom ........... lets face it the hotel didn't go out of business , it was just unfortunate to be part of the Globespan group

So I hope that whoever buys it will just run it as a nice hotel and not try any gimics ................

Default Chinese Whispers

As i have already said i have not heard this "rumour", there was a bit in the DB a few weeks ago that a Dutch company were interested in it but have read nothing since. The problem here is that some residents and locals overhear a part of a conversation, put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5.
Lets wait and see what happens, there is no point in getting all upset about something that might NOT happen.
