Default 24 hours in PP

Now i know someone who's done this, you get a very cheap flight, arriving, say 0900, but the problem it returns 24 hours later, how would you spend a day trip to PP?, bearing in mind you have to sleep before heading home

Smiddy

I am sure a few members on the forum would gladly put you up on their balcony at very reasonable rates!

Adios

I've actually done this twice, the first time many years ago and I remember watching a world cup footie game at Sparrow when Laurence and Marga ran it, I can't remember why I went, the other time was about 4 years ago and I needed to see to something to do with the property I owned at the time, I arrived at around midnight and the taxi picked me up the next evening about 9pm from Tango -where else? lol and took me back to Palma airport.

Smiddy,

Hows about the following ?

Full English Breakfast at Jokers to set you up for the day ( and to enjoy the early morning sun on the front ).

Stroll along to the Isla Dor for a coffee .

Then good walk along the prom to the Galleon and back to Stay for a light lunch by the waterside.

Hop onto a bus to Pollenca for a stroll around the oldtown and a quiet coffee in the peace of the afternoon at Cafe Espanyol.

Back on the bus to the Port for pre dinner drinks at the Cultural soaking up the atmosphere of the Square with the locals.

Dinner , well in your case it would have to be Posito or O'Lume .

Catch the night bus to Palma.

Party in the clubs and bars of Palma before catching cab to airport .

SLEEP on the plane back to Blighty !!!!

BL, Pretty much as i'd do it, but would do El Posito for lunch and O' Lume in the evening. Party in the clubs in Palma? Think Mrs BL would instruct the taxi just to head straight for the airport. Don't want you doing your back again

Smiddy, on a practical note. Instead of Palma for the clubs, you could try Purobeach. About 5 mins from the airport. Chilled out music and a great atmosphere even if you on your own. Had a great 3 hours there before catching a flight back to the UK. Even has a pool and sun loungers for the last sunshine of the day.

Why waste valuable drinking/partying time ?!

Blimey! I'd sleep for a week after doing all that in one day.

Mind you, it takes me about a week to calm down and chill out on holiday which is why I have to go for about ten days. There's always too much to see and do.

Surely within the twenty four hours there would be somewhere special to watch the sun come up? Takes me back to my younger days!
