Smile PP waking up

The Port is springing back to life ,more restaurants open and opening. El Casinet has its relaunch tomorrow evening, El Centric is being cleaned. Corbmari open . Several of the shops are opening or cleaning in readiness . New shops nearly ready in the place of Pelta and Lynx, these are the three shops close
together that closed at the end of the season. One will be a bag shop, the other two are called VOSS, one selling shoes and bags ,the other selling watches and jewellry so almost like for like. I realize some of this should be in restaurant section but all seemed to fit together. It was a lovely feeling seeing so many people about on the pine walk this afternoon, with the sun shining. Still lots to be done to clear the front from last weeks storms but encouraging.

Lollipop, was there any serious damage from the storms you mentioned last week or was it just a bit of general mess from the beach? No pine trees down we hope?

I am sorry to say that 4 trees are down, about 100m before you get to the Illa D'or, with a lot of damage to the pathway.

These shops are on the main row of shops just across from the marina carpark. There is also a Baguetteria opening up. A shop selling different types of bread and pastries and this is also on that run of shops and restaurants, just up from Ca'n Josep.

Yes Lollipop it is great to see places getting a face lift and opening again.
I don't know if it's true but i was told that Centric was going to expand out into the garden at the back.
Manducca and Maxims are open, Nicos open on the weekends.

Yeehh Sparky's said if feels like spring so that's good enough for me PP has pfficially woken up

But what dilema .... I only have a week !!!!!!!!!

So new many places to try ( New O'Lume and newplace that is run by Centrics daughter and located where C'an Andreu used to be plus Crestaix the new Balaixa, new El Casinet plus I have to get to all the Easter stuff in Pollensa so that means I have to eat there as well ( what hardship lol )
Plus I have to go to all my old faves ........... oh well looks like I'll have to eat out for lunch and dinner and bring my fat pants with me to travel home in

Oh crumbs ..... just remembered I have to go and pay my respect to the Puppy ...... usually best viewed from just this side of the Voramar at around 4.30pm and the Voramar does sell excedingly good cakes

I'm sure I'll get scolded for asking and redirected to a previous post but where is El Casinet? I'm just compiling my list of Restaurants To Visit for our Easter trip and don't want to miss out...
