Default Weather - May

We are flying out to Majorca on the 1st May for 2 weeks and wondered what people may expect the weather to be like based on previous experience. Do you think it will be warm enough to sit outside at night etc and go to beach? I do hope so...earlier than we would normally go abroad for a variety of reasons....

Hi Gilliand, i always used to come on my hols the first two weeks in May. It can sometimes be a bit unsettled but i had more good ones than bad ones. I am sure it will be warm enough for you but would suggest you bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings as it can be a bit nippy, especially if you have been on the beach in the sun all day.

Hi there Gilliand

I would have stated exactly as Sparky has done. Most days will be mid to upper 70's, 24c ? I have never bothered with a jacket for the evenings myself, long sleeved shirt/top, but my wife always takes a cardigan or light jacket. Might get the odd rainy or overcast day but it will be mostly good weather.

Hope you have a great time and return, although I'm sure you will!!!
