Default Boys Day & Night Out - September 2010

How about having a 'Boys Day & Night Out' a couple of days after the Girls had their fun night out?

We could start in the afternoon with a fishing trip in the bay (on pedalos?).

Then we could fit in a few games of darts or pool while we're having drinks before we head off for a relaxed dinner (quite fancy Celler La Parra myself, but Hell's Kitchen sounds about right for the task on hand).

Finishing off with a few more drinks in ?

Anybody have any more suggestions?

Was thinking of a footie match on the beach, but we'll probably be sea-sick after our fishing trip ...

Ha Ha - wondered when this would crop up. Think there are a few males in PP with a boat licence - I would recommend a half day rental of one of the Zar's (Italian RIB) from Nautinort ~ split between a number of people the costs are reasonable or nip down to Son Bonet - a nice 6 seater Cessna (make sure you get air-con) will give 5 of you a superb one hour trip round the WHOLE island ~ again with a division of the costs it won't be that expensive. For an easier afternoon there is a shop on the outskirts of Sa Pobla where you can go and be measured for shoes - they take around 4 days to make (5 star quality) - any of these activities should make the girls jealous !!

Taken there by friends - could find it if out there but hopefully someone will be on the forum who knows. Near to where the NEW section of motorway starts - in the countryside. HOWEVER, from memory mainly male shoes being made ~ seem to recall a nice pair of Oxford brogues for around 100 euro. Massive showroom (4 large rooms) with 'designer' labels on quite a few of the 'exhibits'.
