Good point Sparky - suggestions anybody for a venue which is central, perhaps on the front, where you can just go for a drink and don't have to eat (just thinking if our meetings do get popular then we do not want to take up tables that would otherwise be used for serving meals).
Wednesday is a good day as most people visit the market but I think 1.0pm would be a better time just to give us maximum shopping time at the market

Sorry i am not being awkward but 1pm is when most places start serving lunch and they not be happy to have a big crowd taking up tables, on the other hand they may be grateful for any business.

In the past we have always had forum get-togethers at 5pm at Pascalinos (on the front) as it doesn't impinge upon mealtimes (or tables) & there is usually plenty of space - cheap sangria too!

So are we suggesting that a few of us meet up for a drink at 5pm at Pascalino's on Wed 7th of April?... a nice Sagria while watching the sun going down may hit the spot...
Anyone up for that?...
:-)

You paint the perfect picture Shotokan, we will certainly try to make it and if I remember, will have my 'Holiday in PP' mag on the table (just to help with recognition).

Just a reminder that this is the venue for our get together next week, Wed 14th April, 5pm, Pascalinos (sorry couldn't make the 7th as I wasn't there, my mistake, not out till tomorrow!!)
May I also suggest, that we keep this day, time and venue for the rest of the season so that anybody wanting to meet fellow 'PPites' will know where to go.

I must have just left ..after a pleasant couple on canas and a doing the DB crossword...
It really was a wet one!
Hope to see you guys at some point this year though!...enjoy!
One 'Real' highlight was seeing the Real Madrid v Barca match in the Bar Cultural on Wed night with my son... was a great, authentic experience...life was all there!
... and of course the last couple of days of sun I managed to get in before departure...I thought I was going back white for a few horrible moments... in the end it was idyllic lying on the (quiet) beach with the water like a mirror, reflecting a cloudless blue sky!
Be back soon!
