Default What a super town

Just returned yesterday (Sept 8th) from our first visit to PP in 30 years.

I haven't time for a full report, just to say what a fabulous place for a relaxing week. We stayed at Las Velas which exceeded our expectations for the price, we had good food at reasonable prices every night, but the main reason for this email is to say how relaxed everyone seemed to be - we could not get over how cars stopped to let us cross the road whether we were at a crossing or not - even when crossing the new rd at Las Velas. This general attitude made the week very special.

The staff in every restaurant we ate in were all superb, but especially Ines? at Guru - what a lovely girl an absolute credit to the restaurant and to the tourist trade in the town.

It was noticable how much quieter it was on Monday this week compared to everyday last week.

Right, have to get back to the backlog of work, but will send a fuller report in a day or two when things have calmed down!

Well thats a really upbeat start! Cant wait to hear about the rest of the holiday. Probably quieter this week because the schools have started going back now.

Hi Robin,
Glad you had a nice week, hopefully you won't wait another 30 years before you come back again . I look forward to the rest of your report.
