Default Changes

Hi

Just returned from 2 weeks in PP and thought i would post my thoughts on the way we see PP changing.

How many more spar shops are going to appear on the front? just feel that this over kill and are these all needed. As with everywhere lots of empty shops and some bars which is a shame but a fact of life in these times.

How many more chinese etc resturants doe sthe town need?

Prices in some places had come down a little some were the same but with less euros to the pound these were more expensive.

On the plus side food in the places we ate was great paying for 5 of us around 80 to 100 euros this was with no starters but 2 rounds of drinks and sweets for 2 of us.

Overall we had a great time and we shall return again foor our 8th holiday but think we will give it a miss next year, if anyone wants to stay in a very nice 2 bed villa try the one we had this year its on this site an its called Tony Finca and you can walk into town in 20mins or so and was just over £1000 per week with air con and pool.

I will sign off now as i feel im waffling happy hols

We love PP, how is was, how it is now and probably how it will be in the future but have to agree that, with only a couple of exceptions, one shop is very much like another along the front. Gone are the days when every shop was different and sold spanish ware rather than imported tat.

Although, thinking about it, all places seem to be suffering the same plight.
