I wouldn't say it is/will be very quiet. Definitely quieter but most of the eurozone countries are. You wouldn't think there are less people going giving the difficulty in getting a hire car!

Sorry but have to say it is very quiet, i know many business owners and the vast majority are down on last year and they are also extremely concerned about next year that is if they can survive until then.

We have been to PP twice so far this year, April and June, on both occasions it was not as busy as I would have expected and most restaurants owners are saying they are a lot quieter than last year, one very good restuarant in Pollensa told us he is down 40% on last year.

Defo quieter - but I thought last year was quiet too. Late June early July felt like September in the Port.

Didn't spoil our holiday but I hope trade picks up for the businesses.

Our two weeks at the end of June/early July were certainly a bit quieter than in previous years - frankly, I was happy with that. The bar and restaurant owners were, I thought, more attentive as a result.

Next year were going in the school holidays for the first time in years. That is going to be interesting!

We were there last two weeks an June and thought it was amazingly quiet.
I still think that owners of apartments are pricing accommodation too high.
We survived the recessionof the nineties with our apartments in Newquay by adjusting the price accordingly.
Surely two weeks full at £500 is better than two weeks empty at £750.

We're just back - there 27 June to July 11th. First week definitely very quiet, but busier in the 2nd week when scottish school holidays kicked in. We went to Stay, Tango & Tiberi twice each in our trip and they were full each time, the only difference being there were no queues at Tiberi as in past years. A local taxi driver told us that the 'tourists' are there - but they're not spending money. With the exchange rate we noticed a huge difference - you're paying the same as you would here except for wine which is still much cheaper to buy in the supermarket & in restaurants. By the time you go in August it will be even busier - don't worry - it's not a ghost town.

I love PP but the for first time in over 20 years we won't be there this year. We are holidaying at home this year - however we will be back next year and I can't wait.
Actually, I think that a year away (that wasn't planned) will make us appreciate PP more. Maybe we have taken things for granted in the past but I will enjoy every single moment next year!

Thanks Sparky - I had forgotten it was fiesta time! Have fun - I shall be sorry not to see the fireworks on Sunday. At least my wife, daughter and friends will.
