Default TV Ariel

Hi
Probably silly question.
The apartment we are going to in August has a tv but not attached to an ariel so can only watch dvds on it. Would I be able to bring one of those small round ariels that you fix to a portable tv at home to use on the this tv and do you think we would get a very good reception....

It really depends where in the Port you are staying and the position of the aerial and of course your ability to understand Spanish! Our TV has a flickering picture without the aerial (traditional roof mounted) even plugged in so I assume a table top version can only help. Personally I would bring more DVD's or buy more wine and sit out and enjoy!

Default TV Ariel

With kids to entertain TV is a big help. My duties in that area area now, sadly, over! I now don't even switch the TV on, 2/3 weeks without the tele, absolute bliss

We have a villa in Gommar and have a large dish for sky. The reception is very bad although the dish has been checked many times. We are not alone. Our friends in Llenaire and Pinaret have the same problem too.
I suggest lots of DVDs for the children and forget all about tv for your holiday - who wants Gordon with them on holiday anyway!!
