Default Weather In september

Hi All.

Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how hot/warm the weather is in September in PP.

The wife and I have only ever been abroad twice in our lives (last two years!) and we were recommended to PP by First Choice. Stopped at the Hobby Club both times and the apts and PP is just a great place to holiday.

Just missed out on an 11day trip leaving on the 19th June so we are thinking of booking an 11 night stay the first and second weeks in September. We usually go begining/middle of June and the weather is just right(if not a little hot) so will the weather be as warm in September?

Many thanks

Default weather in september

Hi
We've been in PP in September a few times now and found it very pleasant.

The first two weeks in September seem to be hotter and mostly dry compared to the last two weeks in September.
Can't tell you how the temperature changes compared to July/August. Somebody else might have an opinion on that.

From mid-September onwards thunderstorms can be possible and there's sometimes a chilly breeze blowing across the beach. Chilly for PP that is...

But the non-beach days are few and far between and we use them to explore the island and enjoy the sights.

We'll be back in September again this year - so might see you there

Thanks Mike.

Will post again to let you know when we have booked.

Looking at going on the 4th September for 11 nights. The wife won't know if she can take those dates off until next week now.

We've been to PP in September or October for the last 6 years and the weather can be mixed to be honest. When it's good it's really nice but it can rain very heavily in short spells.
We went on September 8th for 11 days last year and it was uncomfortably humid for a couple of days and gloriously sunny for the rest of the time.

Hi, I've been going for the first 2 weeks in september for about 16 years and only once in all that time was the weather off. Will be there same time again this year and now i've told you how good it is that will surely be the kiss of death!!!!

Yes, can reiterate all of the above - sadly we can no longer go in September because we have school-age children but in the good old days it was always glorious during the day. Temperatures in the low to mid twenties or even higher, though it did get a bit chilly at night and first thing in the morning. I seem to remember that we were told there had been a few heavy rainstorms before we arrived but I think these had mostly been at night, and they had actually had the effect of making the rather dry arid landscape really green all over again. It felt like a warm Spring. Probably best though to pack a waterproof/fleece just in case!

Hi dbeatie,
I have also stayed at the Hobby Club, we stayed there for a week last September, 7th -14th. Weather was great very warm and sunny until the last couple of days on the thurs /fri it was overcast. Friday there was a thunderstorm and torrential rain.... and I mean torrential, it caused some flooding although it cleared up fairly quickly.
Don't want to put a damper (sorry no pun intended ha ha) We still had a great time though, and I'm sure you will too.
Pack a brolly.....just in case.

Thanks for all your comments.

Still looking at getting a late deal for 19th june but increasingly unlikely, so may have to settle for the first two weeks in september
