Default Just got back - no longer a PP virgin!

Hi all,

Just got back from a great 11 nights in PP. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Will post our experiences in due course. They say you always remember your first time!

Thanks to all on this forum for such great tips and recommendations - we are sure these made our holiday even better. Already thinking about when we will return.

For all those who haven't been to PP - go!! You will certainly not regret it.

Suppose I will have to think up a more fancy forum name now.

Glad you enjoyed your trip - PP is addictive we gave up trying other places for our hols years ago as nowhere could ever match it this summer will be our 16th visit and we still look forward to it just as much and every year we have a fabulous time. I just wish it was a year round resort for sunshine , hubby and I love the sun so in the winter we go to the canaries. 6 weeks til we go and counting !!

Is it just my imagination or does the forum seem to be a lot quieter these days - is it maybe a reflection that PP is quieter due to credit crunch etc

Welcome back,
I've enjoyed your posts, check out the webcam this morning, it looks a bit cloudy! You timed it just right! (hope it clears for anyone who is there still).

Look forward to your reports

I know about that one and the new one at Sail and Surf.

I was hoping you had managed to get the BH one working

Hi Paul.
It seems that you have been bitten by the bug, Even after 37 years it just doesn't go away, so be prepared!

How right you are. We were staying with friends in can-picafort 20 years ago and all we did was jump on a bus one cloudy day. We went round to pp and the rest as they say is history. Since then it's been twice a year every year. Something just keeps pulling you back.

Now you're going off thread Bonyslad - Pollensa won't, be happy

For me it's a no-no in PP

Rugby shirts are fine though

Middle aged guys wearing football shirts ANYWHERE/ANYTIME are embarrasing. The fads over guys, give it a rest, we all know your team ain't very good, keep it to yourself.

This is an ideal topic to discuss in the Tapas Bar - please let's not re-ignite this contentious topic on here!

All are welcome to join in with our discussions on the TB - we're a wee bit quiet at the moment so venture in and say hello!
