Default Where to watch the Champions League Final

Hello everyone! I'm off to Pollensa at the end of May and will be over there for the Champions league final. I apologise for bringing this subject up again, particularly after the last thread was closed. All I wanted to know, are there places in Pollensa that will be showing the game, will there be a decent atmopshere or should I venture into PP for the evening?

Thank You!

Dougie,

As a seconded ex soviet sailor to the PP naval base , I was intrigued to read a small paragraph in todays engleesh speaking Daily Bulletin about the futty match between Barcelona and England's Mancheester United on May 27th. I am sure there are many kind readers of these columns that can help and advise us where we can partake such sporting spectacle ?

Nice one Dougie,

I am also in PP for the final. Any ideas would be most welcome. (I am sticking to the thread!).

One place to watch footie in Pollensa town is Cafe Espanol in the main square. They generally have the big games on. We spent a brilliant evening there 2-3years ago watching the world cup.

Agree with sandy the Cafe Espanol in the main square will have it on, but to be honest nearly every bar and restaurant will have it on, the town will be more locals, if you are looking for big screens and fellow Man U supporters I would head for the port, sounds like there may be a forum meet up at JK's if you are interested, if only I could make it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not too bothered about having to be surrounded by fellow United supporters, just looking for a decent friendly place with some atmosphere.

I will be in the El Leon Dorado ( the Golden Lion ) but as i have said before, i have never experienced any nastiness over football in the Port. Long may it stay that way.

Dougie,

Anywhere is normally safe in PP, even a footie tv prog. I have been in very mixed company watching matches and had a ball at the banter. PP is different.

enjoy your hols.
