Thats really sad - its part of PP for me

That is a pity, I enjoyed it immensly. I have ordered two copies of this years PP mag from Anne.

Yes i was upset to hear TOTN will be no more, it was a great read. Can i just say a big thanks to Anne for providing a lot of enjoyment and it will be sorely missed.:(

totn

Thanks for the kind words, folks. Good news, though, since deciding to close Talk of the North someone has approached me to take it over, so there will be a relaumch in May. Hope the new owner gets as much great support from readers as I have had.
And don't worry, I will be continuing with the annual Holiday in Puerto Pollensa.

An invaluable read for old and new people visiting Puerto Pollensa - I look forward to the new one every Spring. Keep up the good work Ann.:)

will miss

will miss that cryptic, angry, letters, have had great fun trying to complete in time for the deadline and enjoyed the odd bottle of cava when I have been lucky enough to do so, will miss it greatly.

Ann

Good news indeed. However, we will miss knowing the publisher!! like we do now. Good honest, helpful, informative news of whats going on in PP.

Will it still be free?? I always said that I would be willing to pay for such a local news publication if it guaranteed its survival.

Good to hear you are still continuing the excellent "Hols in PP".

Hope this means you will have more time to enjoy a well deserved holiday (no doubt in PP!!!) Best wishes for the future.

We can only echo what had already been said.
We wish the new 'owners' of TOTN every success.

It's back.

I picked up a copy of the TOTN at the weekend. I am impressed, Graham has done a great job, the old favourites are still there and i think Ann has left it in good hands. Well done Graham keep up the good work.:D

El Gordo 25-05-2009 18:55

Is it going to be available on line? I've missed my usual fix!! especially since we can't see the pinewalk!!!

Looking forward to reading it.

Sparky 25-05-2009 23:15

Hi Gordon, i think there are plans to go on-line but not just yet.

El Gordo 26-05-2009 00:18

Thanks Sparky, looking forward to it.:)
