Hiya highlander,

Shouldnt think so, but ur always best to buy ur protection IN the area ur visiting.
Only time I have ever had a mozzie problem in PP has been mid summer and even at that it was on one evening, sitting in a garden. (and coming from W.Scotland... I SHOULD have known better !)
But with climate change, I guess u never can tell now.

It does depend where you are - I've never been bitten while on the beach or the paseo in PP in April (famous last words!) but we always stay in the countryside between the port and the old town and we have been eaten alive in early April, especially when outside in the evening. Certain restaurants in the Port seem magnets for mozzies too - have no idea why. To be on the safe side I'd get repellent, and some of those anti-mozzie devices that plug in (the liquid ones will easily last for two weeks). Citronella candles are useful in the evenings too - supermarkets usually sell them.
