Have heard swimming pool in port is opening on Feb 28 -- at last!

Had a peek in on Saturday - at least there is water in the pool but no signs of onging work - 28th might be pushing it as there was not even a reception area set up:confused:

The pool opened this weekend and we enjoyed a free swim. They will be holding aquagym classes and swimming lessons for children and adults week commencing 9th March. Discounts for residents of Pollensa. Lets hope its a success.

Yes it's open from 7.45 in the morning to 9pm with special times set aside for only adults. as well as lessons for kids, aquagym etc. Prices from 3 euros for residents and 3.50 euros non-residents -- and it's warm in there!

Where is it? Hasnt there always been one at the sports centre which used to be outdoors and then had a roof put over it?

It's the same one but has only just opened properly - it had a bit of a falst start!:rolleyes:

Can someone please tell me where the swimming pool/sports centre is please? It will be great to use during the winter months. Thanks.

Its on Vicenc Buades, north of the Police/Health Centre, virtually opposite the new carpark between Buades and Roger de Flor.

Its near the first roundabout on the new road to Formentor from Eroski, but because of the one way roads you will have to navigate along Roger de Floor, left past the new carpark, left again and its then on your right.
