Thumbs up the horse

Hi, In case you wonder if i've gone mad let me explain.
Today about 4.30pm driving around the headland I actually saw it.
The rock that stands out of the sea in the bays at Cala san Vicente
throws out a shadow at this time of year, and if you look closely you can see the horse with reins, his nose pointing towards the shore, his legs, his tail at the momeent is distorted, and of course the bit of rock that everyone says is the eagle stands as the rider on his back.
In the bank Colonia here they have a picture on the wall that looks just the same, but in 12 years of living here this is the first time I have seen it look like this.
Sorry to rant on but am just waking up from hibernation.
Regards Cala

Sounds fascinating - see if you can get a photo of it somehow.

Will look out for the horse when we go next!

Have you seen the puppy in the mountain?

Hi debz
The horse is only visible at the end of Jan begining of Feb, I've taken a photo, but it doesn't get it all, and I don't now how to tranfer it onto here but I will try.
Went to Tango for lunch the other day and the sun shone on the hills and YES we saw the puppy, we also pointed it out to Marcus who didn't know it was there.
regards Cala

Don't know what you lot are on but I'd certainly like some of it! Only joking. Just I wish was there to see shadows of horses and puppies. The only thing I can see from my window is the shadow of the DVLA building and my water-logged, leaf-covered lawn. At least the snow has gone from this part of the UK and it was quite spring-like here today. I so envy you people who live in PP. I was thinking of buying a place there, or, more accurately, dreaming of buying a place there, but with the state of pound these days it doesn't seem very likely. The pension just wont stretch that far. Anyway, we'll be out there in July. That's the only thing that gets us through the winter. How sad, spending all winter thinking of 2 summer weeks in PP. Do other people do that or is it just me? Roll on July.
