Don't worry sws the trees have just been well and truly pollarded .

They'll be back to their former glory next year

Was it a lorry, sometimes a lorry parks right up close to the window and all you can see is the back of the cab, quiet day at work today GL?

No not lunch but a break from the hard slog of Pollenca spotting to walk along the beach at Seaham Harbour Co Durham, just south of us. Sun out briefly so gone collecting Sea Glass. (Sea glass is the name of glass that has been broken at some time an tipped in the sea. It is ground and smoothed by the action of the sea just the same way pebbles are formed. There is always lots of white and green, but we look for the rarer red, blue etc. There used to be a bottle works somewhere near here a long time ago.)

Back now for lunch!! and testing our poor Fizz's (the cat) blood for her diabetes. I sticked myself three times with the hypo before I got enough Blood to test. I hope it was hers not mine.

Sorry Pollenca for starting this chat, I know it should be elsewhere now (tapas bar)

Bye
