Thats good news gpm I'm all for it being quieter, but to keep it in perspective, its about 1.10 now and we were getting 1.20 in the summer so only dropped 10 cents, reading on line today they say it is sure to go back up, they think it is only a blip, lets hope so.

I sure hope it does go back up. Prospective property purchase gets more expensive by the day and the value of any pension gets less and less.

when I bought my apartment last May, I made an offer to allow for the falling pound. Anybody buying just now should just make a low offer as it,s a buyers market. Sorry if you are selling!!GPM

Don't feel too sorry for the owners, OK a apartment is only worth what someone's prepared to pay for it! But, on paper, their properties value is increasing by the amount the pound is falling.

We were advised by our estate agent not to even think about selling for 2 years.
