Default Shattered dream!

Just back from PP and as usual one of first things I did was stroll along the Pine Walk to take a look at 'my' house - you know, the one next door but one to the Bahia, the tiny unloved, delipidated one that's been dropping to bits for years. I loved that house, just something about it, and I've spent many years dreaming of how I would restore it to a cosy little hideaway for OH and me. Dream will never come true now because someone's knocking it down!!! The back (on Pescador) has almost completely gone but you can still see the old fireplace in one corner. I hope that it will be restored, God forbid that I find a shiny glass and steel apartment there next year!

Does anyone know who owns this house - I would love to find out if I could have a little peek inside 'my' house when the work is finished

You are not alone - we have spent many hours lying on the beach gazing at that little gem and imagining how lovely we could make it.
It always seemed such a waste because its in such a fabulous position, hopefully it will be tastefully restored and in keeping with the old style PP.

Oh Easylife!!!! i know exactly how you feel. Years ago we used to have the same dream about a house directly across the road from Tamarells beach bar. Then one year we arrived to find it had been tansformed into "La Maina" restaurant, we were devastated.

Hi easylife1.

Got back from PP today and "your" house has now completly gone.
Just a small gap between the two buildings.

Regards

Carl.

Default shattered dream!

Carl - so sad to know the house has now been completely demolished, was hoping it might be restored and loved again

Pinewalkstroll - will look forward to hearing of any developments but I don't expect I shall like anything as much as I liked that house

Thanks

Easylife
