Default Swimming Pool open yet?

Hi there Guys,

Resuming my guise as BonysLadenEspana from next week. Anyone know if the new public pool is open yet? When I last checked ( early May) they said probably later in the May.

Be grateful for any info.

Cool Swimming Pool

I walked past on Sunday and it was closed and still looked empty inside. It must have taken them over a year now to complete a job which could have been completed in a month or two!

Default swimming pool

Read in local Pollensa paper yesterday that the swimming pool in Puerto Pollensa remains closed because the council cannot find a contractor to take on the running of the place "on terms favourable to the council"
Hope it's not going to end up like the toilets opposite the beach which have remained closed for the same reason since the building was finished a couple of years ago.

Isn't it the same pool (at the back) with a lid on?

Yes. It is the old pool covered up with four walls and a tin roof!
