Question Swimming Pool in Puerto Pollensa

Hi, visiting Puerto Pollensa for 3rd time in July, unfortunately this time our apartment does not have a pool and my son is desperate to find out if we can use the pool at any where. Appreciate that the community pool may be open by then but if anyone is aware of a place that we could use the pool for the price of a drink that would be great. Our apartment is located just off the main square. Thanks

Hi JK

Where in PP are you staying? If you are near the centre or Pine Walk end you could use the Flora Aparthotel pool. They don't seem to mind if you buy a coffee etc.

Hi

The Rosa Blanca (White Rose) Pub/Restaurant at the Habitat Roundabout has a pool for the use of its customers. See the Holidays in PP guide.

Thanks everyone for the info, we are staying just near the Nags Head (close to the square) so the Flora Apartments are very close. Can't wait to get there, the kids are counting down the days. Disappointed to read that Tangos has relocated so far out of town, if anyone knows the exact location then would appreciate the info.

Tango is now on the coast road to Alcudia. Head out of PP towards Alcudia and when you get to the end of the sandy beach (opp restaurant Llenaire) it is approx another 400metres on the right.

Hi,

The pool was open last week (19-6-08) for my children's local schools within the port.

I don't think it is open to the public yet, but at least you now know it's in working order !

Will keep you informed in due course.

hope i'm not too late with my reply

try the bonanza bar behind the illa dor hotel, run by 4 brothers that can't do enough for you, nice big pool and fairly quiet, bit pricey for drinks and meals though

Thanks everyone for the info, we fly out on 26 July so only 4 weeks to go. Would appreciate it if you could let me know exact location of Bonanca Apartments, behind I'lla Dor Hotel and then where. Thanks again

Hi jk14!

Bonanca is on the other side of the street behind the Illa d'Or about 50 yards back towards the town centre.

You cannot miss it!

Default swimming pool open

Hi, if anyone wants to know the new covered Puerto Pollensa Swimming Pool is definitely open to the general public. Hours are 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm every day of the week. (these hours are valid until schools go back in September). You have to wear a cap but these can be bought at the pool for 2 euros. Entry for residents is 1.50 euros, not sure what it is for non-res but won't be much more

Hi Ann

Thank you for this. Do you know if it will open over the winter?

Regards

Sharon
