Default Weather - what to pack?

Hi Guys - only 3 more days to go!
Sorry to ask a really daft question, but the weather forecast isn't brilliant for the next 5 days, so I'm wondering whether I should pack more warm/wet weather clothes than I was going to. When I've been checking on web sites for the weather it has been predominantly rainy this week, but I wondered whether that was actually the case in the Port - I know not to rely on forecasts too much! So I was hoping someone who's actually there can give me some tips. Is it still warm enough for the kids to wear shorts & t shirts, even if it is raining a bit?
Thanks a lot,
Cat

Cat

We are going to Pollensa tomorrow - we too hope the weather will be good. It's good to just get away anyway though isn't it? (That sun had better be shining)

I was in Lincoln today and yesterday and it was freezing - back to the south coast now and nice and warm at 18 degrees, so I guess 20+ will suffice in Mallorca.

As for the clothing, take items you can layer up if needed.

Have a good holiday

Nicky

Away ourselves in a couple of weeks so looking every day! Somedays it has actually been colder than England! But I looked at the webcam today and people were in shorts and t shirts - yesterday was long trousers and jackets! Still looks very changeable which is a real pain in the suitcase!!

thanks for the replies, particularly mentioning the webcam - I hadn't noticed the new one. Fantastic - just been on and it's dusk but some people still in t shirts, others in cardis. I'll be checking that Thurs/Fri too!

Hi Cat,

It seems as if whenever I take something warmer it is beautiful weather but if I don't - it rains and BOY when it rains it ban REALLY rain in PP. You can always buy waterproofs and warmer things in the Port if you need them but it can be expensive (there's no Primark ) and - speaking from experience - not the best fashion purchase that you will ever make.

I'd take jeans/ trouser, trainers/ "filled in" shoes (not just flip flops) and at least one long sleeved top. Maybe thrown in a lightweight kagoul - it's guaranteed to make the sun shine!

Have a fab holiday!

Lala

Hi Cat looking at the forecast its wet up until Monday, so I would take some waterproofs or even a kagoul as lala suggested (though not an orange one like hers), it shouldn't be cold, and looking at everyone on the web cam today they are still in shorts and tee shirts, what ever the weather enjoy your trip and at least you have had the best of the weather here first.

Today is 15C and raining so I would bring layers of clothing and a waterproof or umbrella. It can be chilly inside if the sun is not out so a warm top could be useful too.
