Default Llenaire

If you live around the Llenaire area (Star and Sun Properties take note), they have started the long awaited and promised work on repairing the roads.
I was there over the latter part of the week arriving home yesterday and the roads are being dug up like demented moles. Pipes are going in, wires for the new street lamps and holes dug for same. All very exciting. Could they possibly be going to put the new tarmac down and make what has been for the last few years something resembling the beech in the opening scenes from Saving Private Ryan, a thing of the past??
Well call me an old cynic, but I wouldn't be surprised if it all stops again until who knows when.
Anyone know anything more?

The work seems to be progessing well and a large team working there this morning, I do not think it will be too long before it is put to rights, I will let you know but sure they should be finished soon.

Default Re Llenaire

Hi Pollensa Man.
I was told that after quite a long legal argument, the original owner/developer of Llenaire is being forced to repair fully the road, pavements and street lighting to Llenaire and that it would be done in two or three stages, beginning last year, although I didn't see any work done last year.
Do you have any info as to whether this is the work being done now, or is it just the council doing some immediate repairs with the other stuff still on hold.

Default Llenaire

Its not just Llenaire its the whole of PP. When we were out last month the road from Stay to Burger King (boo !) was being dug up and the new sewer installed. The trouble was every time it rained the workers downed tools to take up residence in Restaurant Llenaire ....... I don't know how those guys manage to dig a hole after the amount of brandy they put away. Out again in 2 weeks ..... the holes in the pavement / road make my walk back :rollin from the restaurant difficult ............. must lay off the Soberano a bit.
