Default fishing rod hire

Does any one know if you can hire fishing rods anywhere, not professional stuff,my 12 year old grandson likes a bit of fishing and fancies himself wandering over to the beach in the mornings and doing a spot of fishing,if its allowed that is.

Hi Trespass5,

Rather than trying to hire a rod you could buy a telescopic rod which would fit into your suitcase I've seen them for sale from less than £15, I've used them many times over the years and had great fun. You could also try E bay.

Hi,

Just back from PP and the guys i was with got a fishing rod each for 10 euros each at the market. After a trip to buy a loaf of bread the boys went out onto the pier - along with a few San Migels - and successfully caught 3 fish between them !

So the market is definately a good place for inexpensive rods that work!!
