Default fishing rod hire

Does any one know if you can hire fishing rods anywhere, not professional stuff,my 12 year old grandson likes a bit of fishing and fancies himself wandering over to the beach in the mornings and doing a spot of fishing,if its allowed that is.

Hi Trespass5,

Rather than trying to hire a rod you could buy a telescopic rod which would fit into your suitcase I've seen them for sale from less than 15, I've used them many times over the years and had great fun. You could also try E bay.

Hi,

Just back from PP and the guys i was with got a fishing rod each for 10 euros each at the market. After a trip to buy a loaf of bread the boys went out onto the pier - along with a few San Migels - and successfully caught 3 fish between them !

So the market is definately a good place for inexpensive rods that work!!
