Default Euro exchange

Will be coming over to PP next week.
Please could you tell me if its better to change my hard earned cash in PP or am I better to change it at home?
1.36 euros to the pound at the local post office.

we were stung by some of the exchange rates over there but found the best thing was to take cash out of the cash machine as and when required.

Default Euros

That's what we did, meant we didn't have too much lying around at any time. Telebanco don't seem to charge for the privilege either.

I allways use the hole in the wall while were on holiday seems to be a reasonable exchange rate, but to have some cash to go over with, Marks & Spencer were offering 1.41 euros to the pound yesterday

Do you get charged if you use your debit card in the cash machines?

The euro doesn't seem to change value as much as the old days of pesetas and francs and the like, so you are probably only talking very small amounts if there is a change.
