Default Pink Mountain !!

Hi ,

I was speaking with Fitzge recently, who advised MallorcaBar to see the pink mountain, as sun goes down, and was wondering if it is only in particular parts that this is visible, or whether its every night as sun goes down, or just sometimes, if your lucky.. as am really looking forward to this, was discussing it last night....does anyone know why it turns pink ??? Just out of curiosity !!

Hi,

I think that this post is probably in the wrong section - I was expecting something about a new cocktail!!

We used to watch the Mountains turning pink when we were sat outside Llenaire's. I am pretty sure that it is just the reflection of the sun as it is setting. Looks fab and is a great view when you have a glass in your hand and you feel at one with the world!!

Ah well - back to work....

Reading these posts, I had wondered where the pink mountain was. Adding the photo helped - I have the exact same photo (without so many boats), so I'd already seen it and didn't realise it was a local phenomenon!
