Default English Bookshops in PP area ???

Hi Everyone !

I'm new here and currently planning visit number 5 to glorious PP in just under 6 weeks.

One of our fav things to do in PP is relax and read lots of books in the sunshine, but we always have the problems of weighing down our luggage with too many heavy books. On average, my hubby and I can get through a dozen books during a 2 week stay.

Is there anywhere close to PP with a good selection of Eng lang books ? We've used the papershop/stationery near the main square in the past, but the range is a wee bit limited.

Thanks,

Eilidh

Hello and welcome to the forum,

A few of the shops along the front do have English books as well, but quite expensive and the choice is limited.

I use the Salvation Army charity shop in Mendez Nunez the same road as Multi Hire They have a fairly good selection of second hand books and very cheap.

There is a wee coffee shop across the road from the Pollenca Park that lets u take ur books in and swap them for others that are there (if u get my meaning ! )

Sorry, cant remember the name, but its a couple of doors along from the Jolly Sailor and it has internet access...maybe someone else in the forum might know the name.

Perhaps it's the Bon Dia - they say they have a Book Swap service - see www.puertopollensa.com/internet_cafes.html
