Default Gotmar/Gommar?

Are gotmar and gommar the same place?,i can't seem to find Gotmar district on the PP map,but can find Gommar.

Yes Gotmar is the same area as Gommar

Thanks,i did think so,we have booked gommar district and was a bit confused by the Gotmar,why do some people use it,when it's Gommar on the map?.

There are lots of issues with place names depending on whether it is in Spanish or Catalan same as for Pollensa (Spanish) & Pollença (Catalan) - so I'm afraid you need to be aware of both!

I should think Gotmar is Catalan but I'm not sure.

Pollensa is right. Gotmar is Catalan as are most of the roadsigns and notices on Mallorca. Its something to do with preserving the islands autonomous nature with Catalan being its primary language.
