The views across the bay will be magnificent and also the other way towards formentor I would think.
A lot of yachts and power boats seem to moor off there, though I don't know if people are allowed on shore. Nothing seems too accessible due to the sensitive nature of the adjacent military base. I sometimes think of the following words when using the beach at the far end of the Pine Walk - 'Sorry lad, we're posting you and the family to Puerto Pollensa. Oh what a shame, but we'll give it a try for the summer!'.
Perhaps one of the 'locals' will know a little more.

The area the Boats are moored in that you see is known localy as chicken bay given its name for the boaters who are to chicken to go round the light house corner as this area can be quite choppy. It is a great place to moor up, snorkle, swim or just relax. Its very busy on a weekend as many Local family,s take the family fishing boates etc and tie up along side each other and eat and drink and sleep and the children play in the water.
You cannot go on shore as it is not accessible.but if you get chance to grab a ride on a boat its worth the very short trip we spend many happy hours out there with anchore down and something cold to drink.
If you do go round the Corner the next bay in is known localy by Boaters as Bare Bum Bay (will let you work out why) but that aside the water here is amazing Deep Blue and green and you can get a shore to a tiny beach.
