Default What's happening?

Last night after a few drinks I went on the Internet and booked a week in Puerto Pollensa within about 10 minutes of logging on! I was only supposed to be looking! I've been to PP a number of times over the years with my wife but this time I'm going on my own, leaving next Saturday, 1/7/06.
I don't really want to go on my own but as I have just taken early retirement and I was getting bored, my wife, who is still working, said something along the lines of...Why don't you book a flipping holiday and get away for awhile if you're so bored. The language was a bit stronger than that! So I have. Anyone know if there is anything exciting on in PP in the first week on July? Thanks

Anything exciting?

Well, its the first week of the Scottish schools holidays, so PP will probably be over-run with pale skinned Jocks trying to get away from the UK media's English football obsession!

So I hope you weren't looking for a quiet time!

Enjoy

it may be an idea to check out the daily bulletin website www.majorcadailybulletin.com ... the actual paper has daily/weekly events in so the website may too... i haven't looked but it might be worth a try.
Have a lovely time in PP .... Bonez

Allenglens - What a fightening thought, Pale skinned Jocks! Only joking, I find the Scots, pale or otherwise, very friendly. There do seem to be a lot Scots in PP. Are there a number of travel agents in Scotland just specialising in Majorca, or is it just a coincidence?

Thanks to the others who replied to my message. I'll certainly do my best to enjoy myself.

To Tresspass5, arrange a baby-sitter and a husband-sitter, get on the internet a book a holiday. You're only young once.
