Dont believe everything you read - I know the weather forcast has been dire for Majorca sometimes and yet when we've got there we've had very sunny weather and people have not seen a drop of rain at all! Sazzle is out there at the mo and reports a little rain but its welcomed rain due to being so humid.

Having said that, because its the north of the island it is very mountainous so you do get cloud and rain sometimes. We've had chilly, rainy holidays holed up in our villa in August and yet suncream weather (this yr) second week of March!!! Weird.

Hope you and your family love PP though Essexboy after reading all this on the forum of how lovely it is. Pine Walk is fab and especially so at night with the children playing on the beach watching the sand sculpters and the grown ups "people watching" with a G&T in hand. (So, watch out as from tomorrow I COULD be people watching you and your motley lot from Essex ......)

I'm out next Friday too, here's hoping they have it all wrong I can't imagine there could be that many days of thunder storms.

Maybe Pollensaman will keep us up to date with the local weather forcast.
Come on PM make sure those clouds keep away. I'm looking forward to 2 hot sunny weeks.

The temperature has dropped over the last couple of days to around 29 deg and it's much less humid. We have also seen a few of those white fluffy things you call clouds! Don't despair though, I heard somewhere that a sharp rise to the high thirties is imminent!!!!

Friend of ours has moored up at Palma and two nights ago it was a very heavy storm. The next morning you could see the steam coming up everywhere as the sun came out again really hot! Its a mixture there at the moment and it looks like im going to have to repack the suitcase!!

Jiggy,

I don't care! I love the mixture you can get in PP around about September onwards. Brilliant thunder storms during the night and by mid-day, sunny and warm.

Just like Scotland.................
