Default Wildlife in PP

This is really a question for cd and Keith Marwell.

Hi to you both!

No, not that kind of WILD LIFE!:eek

Last week around the scrubland at Bellesregard and on the new road there were five wild goats roaming about, causing a bit of chaos with the speeding traffic.

Have either of you, who know that neck of the woods seen them, or anything else?

Best regards

Default WILDLIFE

HI THERE,
NOT ONE OF THE PEOPLE YOU WERE ASKING BUT I HAVE AN APARTMENT IN BOQUER.
THE GOATS ARE A VERY REGULAR SIGHT FOR US AND HAVE BEEN FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS.
WE HAVE IN THE PAST COUNTED IN EXCESS OF TWENTY OF THEM AND THEY USUALLY CROSS OVER THE NEW ROAD AT THE ROUNDABOUT AT THE TOP OF THE WOODED WALK AREA TO BOQUER AND WILL WANDER RIGHT DOWN THIS PARK AREA TO THE FORMENTOR ROAD AND EVEN HAVE A NOSE IN THE COUNCIL WASTE TIP AREA AT THE BOTTOM!
WHEN WE PLANTED TREES AROUND THE EDGE OF THE APARTMENT 2 YEARS AGO THEY WOULD STAND ON THE PAVEMENT EATING THEM .

In order to display photos they must already be on another website e.g. flickR - you then insert the web address of the photo in the image box on the left when you type your message. There is more info in the Photo forum. See p221.ezboard.com/fpollensaforumfrm44.showMessage?topicID=3.topic

PF

Oh how excited I just felt when I realised there was a personalised request for me in one of your posts

Back to the goats

Yes they have been therefore as long as I can remember , though I have to say they didn't seem to be visiting as regularly this year as they had in the past ....... but we certainly saw them a few times ... early morning and at dusk is always a good bet

Going to go and post a reply to your first impressions post now

We usually to see the goats at lunchtimes when we come out to our apartment (in boquer) around Feb/Mar time & are able to sit on the terrace. They wander about the green area (waste land!) opposite looking for their lunch & even climbing the trees. They don't come so often now as they have to cross the bypass but they manage it - it's hardly a roaring motorway!

We often see them , but on the correct side of the new fence which has been erected along the new road, we used to get them break into Can Singala and eat the gardens , but the new road has stopped all that.
