Default Whatever happened to Mercedes?

As regular visitors to Peurto Pollensa my family have regularly enjoyed late night carousing at the Bla Bla Music bar run by the delightful Mercedes.

When we visited last summer we were sorry to find the place closed. My wife and I have just returned from a five day break in the resort where we found out that Mercedes had been rushed to hospital earlier in the year with septicemia, but no-one we spoke to could throw any light upon her present condition or whereabouts.

We always received fantastic hospitality from Mercedes and on more than one occasion she took our two sons off during the day to show then places of note.

If anyone has any information, I'd be really pleased to hear from you.

Cheers.

Duncan

Would that be the same Mercedes that worked in 'Cultural'?
If so, hope she´s alright too.
Bla Bla looks like it was a great place, but like so many other places here in Puerto if it´s not on the front or square they tend to get ignored. Running a bar here is ridiculously expensive so no wonder many that are not in prime positions are either closed or up for Traspassa!

Oh dear sorry to hear bla blas is closed. Me & hubby spent many a late night in Bla Blas with Mercedes and the locals over the last few years. Hope she is well, will keep an eye out for her on my next visit.
