CB

My parents are there at the minute and it seems that it is reasonably good. They have said it is a bit overcast in the mornings but nice and pleasantly warm.

I am over next week so I also hope the weather turns out to be better than the forecasts!

Hi guys,

we arrived today. It was 26 C when we arrived but a bit cloudier this evening & quite heavy. Got a bit breezy & we hear it may rain... but so much better than the UK!

Am hoping it keeps fine until Friday as we're doing a walk on Dragonera Island with Mallorcan Walking Tours.

We came back yesterday after a week, weather very changeable, torrential rain last wednesday all day(we went round the market in very colourful plastic macs they sell in supermarkets when it rains for a couple of euros) thursday more showers and bit cold. luckily it cleared up by friday and our last two days(sun and mon) were lovely, not a cloud in the sky, but it was quite cloudy when we left early yesterday.:\

The report from my parents today said that late afternoon was awful. It was very black, very windy & very wet and the electricity failed. The streets around the square were flooded and folks were walking around without shoes!!!

I hope it picks up for next week!

OH NO! I've just finished packing and am heading over tomorrow morning. Think I'd better open my case and have a rethink. I had similar weather back in August but at least this time I'll be prepared.

I hope it picks up too!

There was a spectacular storm yesterday afternoon. The road and pavement along the sea front was flooded particularly around the Tamarells beach bar area.

More storms are forecast over the next few days so bring waterproofs and umbrellas.

Along with the storms yesterday I think they had a tornado in Palma, I saw the reports on Spanish tv here in the UK, does anyone have any more info on it?
