Default weather

Question for those of you who go to PP a lot or live there

Last thursday and Friday were freezing in PP ( remember the rain, hail and snow on the mountains )

Was that unusual weather for November or common

Also , what weather could my parents expect if thecame for a month in Jan / Feb ....... clearly they don;t expect beach weather ,...... but last thursday and Friday were colder than uk ................ as Jan / Feb here is worse than Nov , I was wondering just how cold in generally gets in PP

Hi cd when we bought our apartment 3 years ago we went out in February to do some decorating , and it was absolutely freezing. Really bitterly cold with a biting wind.. when we arrived there was snow not only on the mountains but on the beach as well :eek

But the following year at the same time we had a picnic on the beach at Formentor and it was about 68* some cazy Italians even went in the sea although they didn't stay in long!!!

I think the norm is probably somewhere in between these extremes so I'm sure your parents would have a lovely time. It is PP after all

Hope to see you in PP one day !

Debs
