Did somebody call?

I've only just seen said item and you don't have to be sherlock holmes to realise Fowl play has been at work.
It's an eggstraordinary picture and nothing to yolk about.
Let's hope the culprit has to shell out some compensation.

PS, I've just noticed the matter has been passed to Animal protection. Really !
Too late, Horse, door and bolted come to mind.

Hotels in Majorca say they will not be opening until June this year because the coronavirus has decimated bookings and according to the Hotel Chain Association, or ACH and the Employers’ Association, FEHM, the forecast for the next two months is dire.

...

The President of ACH, Gabriel Llobera said on Tuesday that some of its guests may have to be moved to other hotels.

...

The areas of Majorca most affected by the reservation cancellations are Platja de Palma, Palmanova-Magaluf, Capdepera, Cala Millor, Cala d'Or, Alcudia-Can Picafort, Santa Margalida, Soller and Pollensa.

...

Hoteliers claim there’s another reason the tourists are not booking holidays in Majorca.

“Insurance companies do not cover cancellations due to epidemics, hence tourists do not want to risk having to bear the costs without compensation,” they said.

The Hotel industry is not the only sector that’s suffering in Majorca, the Transport Sector and Car Rental industry have also been devastated by an avalanche of cancellations.

We are keeping everything crossed, a rather uncomfortable position to be in , that we'll be able to return as planned on 21/06.

Update.

When it arrived at midnight, the rescue teams had managed to remove the hiker from the enclosure where she had been trapped. We are told that she had no chance of movement. Right now, just past twelve o'clock at night, he has slowly descended from Bernat Horse on her own foot and been evacuated by ambulance, although her condition perishes that she does not reverse gravity.

End as follows: "given that her condition is not serious" rather than "although her condition perishes that she does not reverse gravity".

In my defence, this was a copy and paste from a Google translation and it was very late. I merely wanted to report that she had been found.

Lets hope she gets a hefty fine and is made to pay for the cost of her rescue .

We could see lights on the mountain last night and were baffled by what it could have been. The jerky movements and moving up and down the mountain suggested human activity but had no idea what this could be at 11pm during lockdown.

I hope they throw the book at this hiker - putting the lives of others at risk at anytime is bad enough but in present circumstances is unforgivable.

Debz, i did change a couple of things in the update, it was saying "his" and "he" instead of her and she, google often does this.

Another one i love is the translation of "sanitarios" ( health personnel) google says "toilets" .

This means she has to appear in court, so not just a telling off .

Let's also hope she "learns her lesson", apologizes and tells everyone her example is one not to be followed.

The Balearic government is forecasting that there will be a "very moderate start to the tourism season in August". Iago Negueruela, the tourism and employment minister, made this observation on Monday, adding that the expectation is for small increases in the following months (September and October at any rate).

The "hypothesis" regarding a start to the season in August, he noted, will depend on how the foreign tourism markets are, e.g. the UK and Germany.

The minister acknowledged that measures adopted by the national and regional governments are causing serious damage to the regional economy. He anticipates a 31% loss of GDP, equivalent to 9,270 million euros. As for jobs, he predicts a similar percentage loss - 30%, equating to 147,000.
