Default Cure for wasps

For more years than i can remember we have always had a problem with wasps at meal times outside.

We have tried fake nests and traps made out of plastic bottles, all to no avail.

At last we have found a solution - eucalyptus oil in a burner with a T light underneath.

It seems to keep them away - hoorah!

In Corfu and Kefalonia they place a small mound of instant coffee granules into a foil container and light it so that it smoulders away for some time. The wasps hate the smell and stay away. It works every time.
