Default Pine Walk

We’ve been going to Puerto Pollensa for 17 years now and have never been to Pine Walk, but have heard a lot about it. Can someone please tell me where abouts it is? Also, if there are any other nearby (on walk) hidden gems that are worth finding?!

The Pine Walk is marked on the map in this link :- https://www.puertopollensa.com/maps/...depollenca.pdf, it is a cobbled path running along the end of the bay toward the military base, beside the sea .

And keep strolling along the beautiful Pine Walk a bit further than the map diagram might initially suggest.

You've almost reached the end when you get to Hotel Illa D'Or.

At that point reward yourself by soaking up the lovely views whilst having a drink on Illa D'Or's outside terrace by the sea.

In my mind the Pine Walk has always been the full stretch of that part of the bay, from the roundabout (Eolo/Cafe 1919) all the way round to Hotel Illa D'Or.

Not sure there's a right or a wrong, just wondered if others thought the same?

It's all a pleasant walk regardless

Many years ago we met an elderly resident of P.P. who claimed to be the daughter of the man who had planted the pine trees. According to her the actual 'walk' started by what was the oldest building in the Port - now the Ca'n Pescador restaurant. This is where the road name changes to Passeig Vora Mar.

The Pinewalk has always started at the narrow cobbled path by Ca'n Pescador and is on Passeig Voramar 😊

Though perfectly possible to have walked there many times without realising what it’s called.

We always consider the Pine Walk starts at C'an Pescador.
17 years and not been to the Pine Walk!!
Don't understand how that is possible unless you stopped at Bonys for some massive cocktails. and then everything gets blurry

Previously we have had similar requests about 'The Church' and 'The Square'!!
But some come on holiday and are so relaxed, they don't stray far from the Bar, pool, beach etc

I have always known 'The Pine Walk' to start at Corb Mari along to the end near the airbase.

Before the pedestrianisation of the stretch from the roundabout to The Pine Walk this part was just a normal road.

I don't think that there are any signs prohibiting cyclists on 'The Pine Walk'. The signs are only at the entrances to the pedestrianised section. Not that that makes a difference!!

Hi Gommar

When did this pedestrianisation happen - the part from the roundabout to the start of Pine Walk?

I found a photo from the 80's and it was still a road with people parked outside Cafe 1919 and Daina.
