Just to let our older forumites know that I have had a message from our very good friend Beryl Dales:

'It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that my lovely and loving Rolie passed away yesterday.

Rolie was well known in the Port, especially singing in Pub Imperial. He and Beryl were also very active members of ESRA, and many other groups including 'Music makers' etc.

They, with their family, last visited PP last Easter, after returning to the UK some years ago.

Our thoughts are with Beryl and her family at this sad time.

Very sad news! We spent many happy evenings listening to his music at the Pub Imperial.

Very sad to hear that. Met them years ago, they were a lovely couple.
