Yes, very sad. I heard a couple of days ago. I remember back in the day if you didn't get to the Ikebana by around 7.30 pm you would not get in and that was most nights

I still have some old film on Cine 8 of the place packed with folk dancing. Those were the days. My condolences to the Kati Family.

So sad to hear this sparky. I knew Max from about 25 years ago when he used to own Tropicana. It was a great bar/ restaurant with a lovely pool down a track off the main road ..about half way between the Port and Pollensa. We used to cycle there with friends and a hoard of children( all ours!) and spend many a happy afternoon. He played great music and there was always a party atmosphere, although it was never that busy as it was off the beaten track. He always made us so welcome , it was more like our own private party.

RIP Max

Very sad to hear about Max. We too remember him from Tropicana and also spent many a happy day there enjoying his extensive music collection.

I am sad to report the sudden death of the head waiter at La Vall.
Manuel was a true professional, a good friend and a genuinely lovely man, we will miss him dearly .

A really sad loss. Luis was a wonderfully talented drummer - a great rock drummer when with The Hustlers and a subtle intuitive jazz drummer when playing with the Fat Cats. And on top of all that, a really lovely man.

So sad. Lovely man and a great drummer. Played at our wedding and the sound of him hitting the skins will live with us forever. RIP Luis x
